This tiny chair was originally part of a larger artwork I made several years ago. It was one of several elements which represented a diary of my day. This was a moment of quiet contemplation. An empty chair can symbolise many things. Hope, loss, memory, an invitation. It is open to the viewers interpretation and as such I choose to make it a piece in its own right. It is one of the only items of jewellery I wear. It is small yet powerful.
Available in silver or 18ct gold
Pins, with push backs
Pendants with oxidised silver chains.
The silver chair is available as part of the Artist Support Pledge.
